Falk Poetz is a german film director and writer. Born in Frankfurt am Main, he graduated film school in Hamburg and Saxony and since then has worked as a producer, creative and film director for agencies such as Havas, TBWA, Heimat and Philipp & Keuntje. Falk has won several awards in the field of advertising as well as for his fictional work. His Short Film Drama “The Agreement” has won a gold Remi award for best Thriller at the Houston World fest and was screened at film festivals around the world. Since 2019 his commercial films have a massive data driven component and exhibit a strong personalized and individualized approach combined with strong storytelling. In 2021 he wrote and directed the 40th anniversary cross platform audio play Adventure “TKKG and The Cursed Easter Egg” for Sony and Amazon Music. The project won the Creative Content by Facebook and the Art Director’s Club of Germany, because of its groundbreaking new way of transmedia storytelling and was highly anticipated by press and media experts. Falk lives and works in Hamburg and Hesse, Germany.
